Wavinya Ndeti of the Chama cha Uuzalendo party is eyeing Machakos gubernatorial seat.
Many thought she would go for the Mavoko parliamentary seat but seems her mind is already made to throw out Mutua.
Mavoko member of parliament Patrick Makau is asking Mavoko residents to give him another chance.
It is too early to predict how many aspirants Makau will contest with as politics is very dynamic but so far one leader has come out strongly to publicly declare his intentions to clinch the Mavoko parliamentary seat.
This is Athi River member of county assembly Michael Mutua Mutuku.
So far, it is a two-horse race and residents of Mavoko have a huge task to choose between the two.
While Makau has been lauded for good CDF management, Mutuku has been hailed for supporting education.
According to Softkenya.com, Mavoko constituency has a population of 139,502 and four wards including the highly populated Athi River ward, Syokimau/Mlolongo ward, Muthwani ward and the least populated Kinanie ward.
