Wiper Party Leader Stephen Kalonzo has always been seen as one of the politicians who can change their political tunes overnight. This time round Kalonzo has proven his critics wrong after there were speculations that he will ditch National Super Alliance (NASA) before Former Prime Minister Raila Amolo Odinga ascends to power.
The firm political stand of Kalonzo clearly shows that he is a man on a mission. The Ukambani political kingpin has to keep his Presidential dream burning.
One of the worst mistakes Kalonzo can make is leaving Raila’s camp to join Jubilee. Chances of Kalonzo displacing Deputy President Willam Ruto are almost zero.
The former vice president has to play his cards right if at all he really wants to become the head of state in the near future. If the current situation is anything to go by, Kalonzo still has more to accomplish before he can rise to the nation’s top seat. With political realignments taking place each election year, Kalonzo presidential dream still hangs in balance.
However, his performance record has also been criticized by leaders of the Jubilee party who believe he has not done much since he entered the game of politics which might not be the case.
