If you thought former KTN investigative journalist Mohamed Ali would leave the newsroom after joining politics, then you might be wrong.It is said once a journalist, always a journalist.Ali, famously known as Moha Jicho Pevu might be returning to our screens just a few weeks after being sworn in as Nyali MP, with a report on the alleged killing of demonstrators by police.Ali on Tuesday posted some photos of him and a cameraman shooting a video in front of the Parliament building with the caption, “Mic check, Jicho Pevu Loading....”“Jicho Pevu loading, the killings must stop come what may. No more killing Kenya,” posted Ali on Twitter.Moha, who was elected Nyali MP on an independent ticket, is a member of Africa Uncensored, an independent media company that comprises of investigative journalists in Africa.Most of his fans had wondered whether he would still practice journalism or concentrate on serving his constituents after joining politics.However, it is not known when the piece will be aired.
