First-time Nyali legislator, Mohammed Ali, has been locked in a vicious battle with the current Mombasa governor Ali Hassan Joho.Ali has made a string of critical remarks against the governor, calling his leadership a disaster for Mombasa county residents in his social media posts.In the build-up to the disputed October 26 rerun, Mohammed Ali shared a podium with President Uhuru Kenyatta where he tore into 001.This cold war between the two has many wondering whether the legislator has his eyes firmly set on the governorship of Mombasa.He has been known to be very ambitious and a shot at the governorship may well be in his cards.Only time will tell!
