A guy from my office, out-of-the-blue said that he thinks his wife of three years is cheating on him, not the emotional type of cheating but the full blown sexual escapades. We were in the changing room after an evening round of basketball. As much as that explained his sour mood and grumpy attitude, the boys and I were at a loss on how to help him.
We got into full stealth mode, trying to find clues that would tell him know whether she was indeed dishing it elsewhere. Face it gentemen, your woman could cheat on you. Extra-marital affairs are not just a male only thing.
Nothing ruins a man more than finding out that his wife or girlfriend is cheating on him. It makes you question your manhood, your strength, everything you believe is brought into question. Here are six pointers that will help you know whether she has checked out on you.
1. She's overly concerned about your whereabouts
Do not confuse this with concern for you or your welfare. If her persistence on knowing where you are is a little extreme, then she wants to be sure that you are not in a position to find her out or see her with the other guy.
2. She suddenly puts extra effort to look good, smell great and dress to kill, but not necessarily for you.
Ask yourself man, who is all this effort intended for? You should be your partners biggest cheerleader and most loyal audience, so if she is putting on a show, but it is not for you, someone has taken over your seat in this theatre mate.
3. You are not as emotionally connected as you used to be
Cheaters are careful not to be found out. She might avoid talking with you so that she does not say the wrong thing and ruin her secret. You can always tell when someone is making a deliberate effort to be cagey around you. Take the hint brother, investigate that mama.
4. She falls of the radar for large amounts of time
So, weekends used to be yours two, to be spent together. Now she has endless plans with her 'girls' and during this time you cannot reach her. The time gaps are also unexplained. Those people she calls her 'girls' are probably some guy with coarse beard, taut muscles and a tattoo. Or the head of marketing at her workplace.
5. She does not want to have sex with you
If a woman you call yours does not want to be intimate with you, find out why. Go to the root of the issue, sort it out and get naked. You need to keep connecting with your wife sexually. If your sex routine suddenly changes without explanation. Investigate!
6.She cheated on you (or with you) before
This is actually at the top of the list. It's true that people can indeed change but if your woman has cheated on you before, and somehow you found out and ironed things out, then the above tell tale signs re-appear, then she is getting her honey dip elsewhere. Leave before she hurts you bad, man. If she cheated with you, on her then boyfriend, well, karma is a b!2ch.
