Speaking in a television interview in a local media house, the Siaya senator said that NASA coalition is still intact unless the four principals decide to dissolve it.

He stated that the document that established NASA still holds it together unless the coalition is unanimously dissolved by the affiliate parties.

"Nasa is not dead because if you look at the document that established Nasa and the organs of the coalition, it cannot be dead until those organs sit and make a decision about the future of the coalition," said Mr. Orengo.

There have been claims that the coalition is on its death bed following the decision by ODM leader, Raila Odinga, to join the government without involving the other principles.

More signs of a broken marriage between the principals have were witnessed today after the Ford-Kenya and Bungoma Senator, Moses Wetangula, was today ousted as Senate minority leader.

Orengo was then nominated to replace Mr. Wetangula as the new minority leader in the senate-house.

The Siaya legislator promised that the coalition is not dead and they are to meet on Thursday.

"We met today and we will even meet on Thursday," Mr. James Orengo promised.
