What is the role of the so-called black magic in the affairs of an African living in the 21st century?

Although foreign religions have attempted to demonise, and sometimes refute existance of these powers, they have continued to dominate affairs of the African.

But what role do they play?

Can black magic change destiny?

Perhaps the National Super Alliance can tell us more.

This is after Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa (affiliated to the National Super Alliance) called upon supporters to use 'unorthodox' ways to stop the planned October  26 elections from taking place.

While addressing supporters at Mwarakaya in Kilifi, Jumwa asked witchdoctors to help in derailing the voting process by sending bees to cause disturbance.

“If possible on October 26, let us ensure we engage in witchcraft to scuttle the election. All witch doctors from Chonyi, all witch doctors from Pwani, and all witch doctors from Kenya," she said.

"Let us send bees on Election Day to disrupt the process. We are known for having the most effective witch doctors let’s see the witchcraft working that day," she said as quoted by the Standard.

It is not clear whether the 'we' in her statement is NASA or coastal people.

During their campaigns, Jubilee leaders Uhuru Kenyatta and William Ruto have referred to Raila as a witch, something NASA supporters have not taken lightly.

But the question is, are we running away from 'witches' yet it is something we could use t change out destiny?

Has NASA discovered this secret?
