The Kitui West MP has several times issued statements that have threatened to tear down NASA in regards to the coming August polls and the Ukambani politics in general.

The controversial MP who has been championing for Kalonzo’s presidency is now on the spot again after he publicly urged the Kamba community to endorse President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election in the August 8 polls.

On Sunday the Kitui West MP was recorded calling campaigning for Jubilee’s second term.

Nyenze allegedly said that Uhuru’s administration has initiated key development projects among the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) and deserves re-election.

Nyenze went on and asked the Ukambani region to ignore leaders who have nothing to offer and who only engage in rhetorics.

The Kitui West MP’s recent remarks are now raising concerns with a section of political analysts alleging that the MP could be a Jubilee mole.

According to Peter Ngure, a Kiambu based analyst Nyenze’s statements are not of the blues. The analyst observes that Nyenze often speaks with authority and his statements cannot be taken casually.

“Nyenze’s statements are not his own and there could be someone using him to cause ripples in Ukambani for political gains especially this electioneering period,” he alleged.

The analyst said that Nyenze, if not tamed, could ruin the National Super Alliance dominance in Ukambani.

“Ukambani is considered as an opposition zone and for an MP allied to NASA to publicly drum up support for a competitor is not something that can be rubbished off,” Ngure said during an interview on Tuesday.

Ngure claimed that Nyenze could be a mole working for some political forces which want to control Kamba politics ahead of the August polls.

The analyst said NASA is likely to lose grip of the Ukambani region if it fails to bring on board all disgruntled politicians allied to the opposition outfit.

He said that some politicians in Ukambani feel short-changed in the NASA deal and will do everything to sway the region vote elsewhere.
