Some years back, having a degree was an achievement that would bring together the entire society to celebrate. Graduating from the university was every child's dream and a degree holder was treated as a hero; at home place and in offices.

But is it the same case today? Should you be comfortable with one degree? Is it enough?

Let us face it. Having one degree and not having one at present day is almost one and the same thing. You spend four or five years on campus, graduate with your honours, and the journey begins. You upload your CV on various websites, sit and wait for that job to find you. Two weeks, one month, two months; no job. You now print your CV and go up and down in search of jobs.

The thing is, in the job market, a lot of people are looking for jobs. Having one degree can be ranked as the lowest qualification since you are competing with people with two degrees, masters or even PHD.One degree at present day is not enough! Go beyond the one degree. Learn other things. Take up CPA classes, learn IT, learn a foreign language! Better still, if it is possible and convenient, immediately you are done with your bachelor's degree, enrol for the masters immediately. It will highly increase your chances at job interviews. In conclusion, never feel safe with one degree. Advance! One degree is never enough today.
