A memorandum of understanding signed between ODM Party leader Raila Odinga and Wiper's Kalonzo Musyoka in the run to the 2013 general elections is threatening the unity of opposition alliance NASA.
The Wiper leader has, however, ruled out any possibility of a fallout within NASA, maintaining that he is in the Opposition to stay.
Speaking on Thursday shortly after submitting his nomination papers as Wiper presidential candidate, the former Vice President further said his party was not considering to go it alone in the next polls.
"We are in NASA to stay. We now are more hopeful that this will help us clinch the NASA ticket to face Jubilee at the ballot," he said.
"All NASA principals have parties that they head. So, do not be deceived that my being Wiper flag bearer will cause any rift in the alliance," he added.
His remarks were reiterated by Siaya Senator James Orengo, who affirmed that the NASA principals will remain united until the next polls.
