PLO Lumumba has in the past been reputed to be a neutral socio-political commentator.
That reputation of political neutrality appears to be in tatters, at least for now.
Appearing in a panel discussion on Jeff Koinange Live, the renowned orator launched into a spirited defence of the re-election of President Uhuru Kenyatta, dispelling doubts as to where his allegiance was.
''That is the only inauguration that is known by.'' He said.
Lumumba's presentation on Wednesday night has fueled speculation that Uhuru Kenyatta may just give him a plum position in his government.
The inclusion of Lumumba, who comes from a community that largely supports NASA, would help create the perception of inclusion.
In the past, he has said that he is open to serve Kenyans in any capacity in the government.
Kenyatta would want to consider people who he can easily work with and PLO Lumumba appears to be a safe bet.
