Controversial Kenyan rapper Jackson Ngechu Makini alias Prezzo has finally come out to address rumors that he is broke.

According to The Star, there was a story that ‘My City My Town' hitmaker gave away all his accessories in order to record a new song at a Tanzanian-based studio, whose actual name has not been disclosed.

The Nairobi Dairies actor has, however, dismissed the speculations, terming them baseless and being spread by persons with ill motives.

A source told The Reverend that the singer, who is known for his classy lifestyle, had to walk from one studio to another to record his music without breaking into his home bank, but his efforts proved futile.

In an exclusive interview with Kiss FM, Prezzo rubbished the entire story saying that he did not sell jewelry to record music; instead, he bought more from the Tanzanians.

The talented rapper also downplayed claims that he is addicted to drugs.

Prezzo has won the hearts of thousands of his fans with hits like Mafans, Naleta Action, Let’s Get Down, Leo ni Leo, Mahangaiko  and Mimi na Wewe
