Mukurwe-ini MP Kabando wa Kabando has accused Opposition alliance NASA leaders of insincerity and dishonesty in its fight against corruption in the country, the Star has reported.
Speaking on Monday, the legislator accused Opposition leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka and Musalia Mudavadi of double speak in the war against graft.
“They shamelessly close their eyes on the rot in counties controlled by their allies. Yes, there are some blemishes in Jubilee circles, but the truth is also that there is stinking filth and blatant looting by Cord functionaries,” he said.
Kabando defended President Uhuru Kenyatta's administration against corruption, observing that the head of state has taken considerable measures to curb the vice in his government.
“President Uhuru Kenyatta has sacked six Cabinet Secretaries over graft. How many ODM governors has Raila reprimanded? Mr Odinga, shape up or shut up," he said.
The Opposition leaders have in the past led a scathing attack against the Jubilee administration, accusing the government of plundering public resources.
