The crafting of his new cabinet should the Supreme Court uphold his win will be President Uhuru Kenyatta's  next task to spearhead his agenda during his second and final term at the helm of the country's leadership.

While the President is expected to retain majority of his current members of the cabinet, some are expected to be shown the door, a move that will pave way for new faces.

Former Karachuonyo MP James Rege is one of the new faces that many expect to make it to Uhuru's new Cabinet, thanks to the unwavering support he gave to Jubilee.

After a fallout with ODM leadership led by Raila Odinga, Rege who served Karachuonyo for two uninterrupted terms switched his allegiance to Jubilee and became a key member of Uhuru's party.

To further confirm his commitment to spearhead Uhuru's re-election, Rege, a one-time Permanent Secretary in the ICT Ministry, sacrificed his personal ambitions by not seeking a third term as Karachuonyo MP to campaign for the Jubilee leader.

Further, reports indicate that Rege was one of Uhuru's biggest campaign financiers. And if the contribution of each one of his key lieutenants is anything to go by, then Rege is a favorite to make it to the President's new cabinet.
