The Irish ambassador was going to launch the Irish founded school, St Patrick’s Primary school in Makueni county but could not access the road forcing him to use an ox cart.

“Privileged to open wing of St Patrick’s Primary school Kawese, Makueni county today following support from Irish organization Kenya child foundation. Access to the school difficult due to recent rains/muddy road no problem via Ox Cart!” posted Vincent on Twitter.

His photos of him on the cart on the muddy road has caused excitement on social media with Kenyan acknowledging his humble act.

Perhaps, he is the best ambassador to Kenya who has proven his willingness to serve despite the challenges that Kenya is facing in terms of infrastructure and underdevelopment.

Makueni County, under the leadership of Governor Kivutha Kibwana, is one of the counties that have been severely affected by the ongoing rains in the country with has rendered many roads impassable and swept away many bridges.
