Wiper party has been the strongest party in Ukambani.
However its dominance in the region is being threatened by other small parties which have erupted with mass following.
Chama Cha Uzalendo party of Wavinya Ndeti and Maendeleo Chap Chap of Alfred Mutua will give Wiper a hard time.
Muungano party of Kivutha Kibwana dominates in Makueni county. There have been rumours that Kitui Governor Malombe will be defending his seat under Muungano party for what is termed as fearing loosing Wiper ticket to party honours.
Wiper dug their own grave and have started accusing others of trying to bury them. Most of the MPs who were voted using other party tickets were once in Wiper and some cheap certificate corruption pushed them away.
10 Wiper MPs recently rejected to Jubilee merger Party. Kivutha is very loyal to Wiper but avoided it because he knew what would happen when another person with a bigger wallet goes to nominations with him.
Wavinya Ndeti is a victim of the same corruption in 2007 when she won in nomination preliminaries and certificate sold to Kaindi.
So now when they realize Ukambani will not vote for Wiper party, they become scared because it undermines Kalonzo's presidency.
Instead Kalonzo should unite Kamba leaders supporting him irrespective of their political ideologies.
Kivutha Kibwana , Charity Ngilu and Wavinya Ndeti are supporting Kalonzo but not the Wiper Party. This tells a lot about the future of Wiper.
