Isecha level 4 hospital in Kitutu North received a boost after Safaricom foundation handed over a new constructed inpatient block.
Governor James Ongwae launched the facility on Monday after it was official declared complete by Safaricom PLC acting Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr Joseph Ogutu.
"Safaricom has transformed the lives of many citizens through such projects. I wish to thank Dr Joseph for considering boosting Isecha hospital and its contributions in education, health, empowering the youths and economic growth," he said.
The hospital serves more than 1000 patients monthly and this will increase the quality of services patients recieve.
The foundation also renovated the female and male wards and constructed a 300,000 litre storage water tank.
In the handing over was deputy Governor Joash Maangi and Kitutu North ward MCA, Hon Methuselah Ogero.
