Residents of Kisii Central ward have blamed the area MCA, Kepha Mogaka, for not delivering what he had promised during his campaign manifestos.
According to the residents, six months after the August general elections, Mr Kepha has been silent and has neglected their concerns regardless of the several times they Mogaka have raised concerns to him.
Ensuring that Poor garbage collection, water shortage, poor feeder roads, poor streets lighting and insecurity are addressed were some of the promises he made.
The residents say that so far nothing has been improved.
“Our MCA has done nothing since he took entered office. From water issues to poor roads and sewages. He should work or resign,” said David Nyambega, a business owner in Nyanchwa.
Kisii town has always had water shortage and it recently hit news headlines for being dirty.
“Please be patient. The county government has not received money from the national government meant for ddevelopment. I will keep my words as soon as money is allocated to us,” said Kepha Mogaka.
