Former IEBC commissioner Roselyn Akombe. She has said she is greatly concerned at the direction the country is taking.
While offering a commentary over the recent political developments informing her resignation, Akombe said that the country is headed to a great fall unless Kenyans come together to salvage it.
She called upon all patriots to stand up for the country, adding that Kenya needs people of integrity to put the country back on track.
She was saying this after her resignation from the commission, something that has thrown the country into great confusion over the scheduled October 26 repeat presidential election.
"It's not too late to save our country... We need a few (wo)men of integrity to stand up and say that we cannot proceed on 26," she said.
"The IEBCKenya has become a party to the current crisis...and cannot conduct a credible election as presently constituted," she added.
