According to Ondimu teachers are doing well in terms of performance hence, there is no need of signing the performance contracts.

Speaking on Monday in his office, Ondimu said that it will be quite useless for teachers to sign contracts and go to school physical without teaching.

“It will be so embarrassing when teachers being in school without teaching in the name of signing contracts since even now teachers are doing a good job,” said Ondimu.

In addition, he said that through evaluation of examination and the release of the KCSE  it has shown that teachers are doing a good job even without signing the  performance contracts.

“Through the performance of evaluation test and final examination in our school it has shown clear that teachers are doing a good job,” added Ondimu.

Ondimu also said that they rejected the bid of sign performance contracts since they were not involved in the process.

“As teachers we were not involved in the process and there was no public participation as it has been documented in the constitution,” added Ondimu.
