The mourning mother of two sisters who perished in Kisii road accident has said that the cause of her daughter's death might be as a result of refusing them to attend a close relative funeral.
The single mother of the two Kenyatta University students Racheal Muthiga has stated that her two daughters had wanted to attend their cousin's funeral service in Meru on Friday.
However the family had insisted they shouldn't attend as they were very close to their cousin a situation that would enormously affect them.
"I have raised Vinnah and Vallerie all by myself since their father's death 15 years ago and its the most painful thing to lose them while they had just begun flourishing," said Muthiga.
The two girls had accompanied their friends on Friday to Kisii after they had been deny to attend their cousin's funeral when the fatal Kisii-Kilgoris accident occurred.
The accident occured after the driver who was trying to overtaken got head on collision with a lorry. The two sisters are to be buried on Friday at their home in Kisii.
