National Assembly Majority leader Aden Duale has said it is another new beginning in Garissa Township constituency after he beat Wiper's Farah Maalim in the recently concluded polls.

Daule garnered 22,587 votes against his political opponent Farah Maalim's 14,897 votes.

Duale said that he will serve the constituents without favor.

"I am a leader, those who voted for my rival will still serve them without discrimination," he assured.

The vocal Mp said his supporters including youth and women had faith in him and re-elected him.

"My good leadership is the reason why I was re-elected. It is a challenge to rivals next time to be close to the people who will vote. Politics of propaganda won't make someone win an election", he noted.

Duale added that for the next 5 years, he will initiate projects in the constituents to benefit the people across all backgrounds.
