Kinuthia said Odinga has sensed he will become irrelevant and hence started staging demos in the country.

"Those leaders who are in their 70's are only using protests to gain traction and relevancy. Its solely for their selfish gains and it is so shameful to see them sit down on roads,” he said

Raila Odinga is 71 years old.

“Cord leaders are now engaging police officers the age of their grandsons in a cat and mouse game during protests, that is not good considering their age,” He added.

The governor has banned any anti-IEBC protests across the county, saying demos are a recipe for chaos.

“It’s no secret those agitating for the protests are keen to destroy property, we have all witnessed that,"Mbugua said.

Kinuthia was speaking in Naivasha after opening the Sunny Hill hotel.
