The Gusii community has been challenged to remain united and focus on development which will help them improve their living standards.
According to the former CIC chairman Charles Nyachae, the community needs to be united and have one voice which will help them in terms of development.
He also urged the community to set an agenda and a vision which will fit into the national agenda to help them in development.
In addition, he challenged residents to stop wondering and propagating about who will be the next MP, MCA and even the governor but focus on engaging the national government on matters development.
“Most people have started propagating about the coming general election, we need to engage the national government on how we can benefit and this is through having our own agenda and vision which will fit the into national agenda,” said Nyachae.
He, therefore, challenged the community to focus on development and how they can forge ahead as a community rather than having self-interests.
