Uasin Gishu governor Jackson Mandago has asked National Super Alliance (NASA) supporters across the country to allow Jubilee supporters to peacefully celebrate the validation of President Uhuru Kenyatta's win in the October 26 repeat Presidential election.

Speaking when he led hundreds of Jubilee supporters in celebrating Supreme Court ruling on Monday, Mandago said it was time for counties and national government to focus on service delivery to mwananchi.

The vocal Jubilee governor who was accompanied by MPs Oscar Sudi (Kapseret), Silas Tiren (Moiben) and Soy's Caleb Kositany, however, reiterated the need for a peaceful coexistence among all Kenyans irrespective of their political affiliations.

"To NASA people, the way they celebrated when August 8 poll was nullified, let them allow us to also celebrate even as they mourn," Mandago said amid cheers from hundreds of supporters who had turned up to celebrate in Eldoret town. "Its time we went back to work and shift focus on offering services to our people and fulfilling the pledges we gave to them during the campaigns," he added.Ends
