Former Lands CS Charity Ngilu has said that she has nothing against leaders behind her Karen land scam woes, adding that she has forgiven them.

Speaking after criminal charges relating Sh8 billion Karen land scandal against her were thrown out by the court, Ngilu said that she was sure that one day she would get justice.

Ngilu, who is eyeing the Kitui gubernatorial seat in the forthcoming elections, also said that she knew she was clean, arguing that her opponents wanted to bring her down politically but now there are in for a rude shock.

The outspoken politician further said that time has come for her to concentrate on her ambition as she looks forward to becoming the next county boss.

“I told you I was clean. I have forgiven my aggressors as I knew from the beginning that the case would be withdrawn. It is over now. Let me move on with my life,” she said as quoted by Star.

The iron lady faulted her political rivals for attempting to tarnish her name ahead of the next general polls.

“There is no doubt the events have been aimed at smearing my character, reputation and long public service. What stood between my detractors and me is the truth,” she added.
