Homa Bay Women Rep Gladys Wanga has said she is not interested in replacing former ODM Secretary General Ababu Namwamba.

Reports making rounds on social media for the last one week have linked the outspoken lawmaker to the position.

On Tuesday, nominated Senator Elizabeth Ongoro said Mr Namwamba's replacement should come from Western and specifically Busia county.

Ms Wanga who was interviewed on Citizen television said she was contented being women rep.

Namwamba quit his position as ODM SG about two weeks ago and ODM is shopping for a party member to replace him.
