Nyoro says that speculations that he has opted out of the Kiambu gubernatorial race are false.
Speaking to journalists on Sunday at Kiambu Town, Nyoro said he is still in the race to unseat governor Kabogo.
“Those spreading claims that I have opted out of the race to unseat governor Kabogo to be Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu’s running mate in the August polls are false,” he said.
The former Rockefeller Foundation Managing Director stated that he is in the race to stay exuding confidence of clinching the Jubilee party ticket to contest for the governor seat.
Nyoro is among aspirants who have vowed to send Kabogo packing in the august 8 polls.
Other aspirants are real estate tycoon David Gakuyo, Kabete MP Ferdinand Waititu and businesswoman Njoki Gathendu.
Governor Kabogo has however rubbished the competitors bid exuding confidence in retaining the seat in the August 8 polls.
Political analysts say that Kiambu gubernatorial race will be a two-horse race pitting Kabogo and Waititu.
