Nairobi County Senator Gideon Mbuvi alias Mike Sonko has refuted claims that he's promised to give motorbicycles to people.

The infuriated senator said that the facebook account running the malicious information is fake, run by a conmam who is after peoples money.

The senator has a verified account 'Mike Sonko' which he has urged people to trust as his and shun all the impersonators.

Sonko pointed out that many online conmen have taken to social media to impersonate him and mint money from people.

"We have been fighting this problem for long but please be careful those are conmen," he said.

He also warned the impersonators that their days are numbered and once caught, they will be prosecuted.
