Jackline Mwende, the lady whose both hands were chopped off by her husband is now boasting of new prosthetic hands thanks to Korean doctors.

Jackline got the new hands fitted on Friday by the Korea Prosthetics Laboratory specialists in Seoul South Korea, funded by L.G.

According to the Star Newspaper, the new hand use electronic motors and are battery powered. They have been put in place using suction technology and have maximum suspension.

The 27-year-old will now be able to be self-reliant after the tragic ordeal that left her almost helpless and is very grateful to the company and other organizations that have shown interest in her well being.

"I thank God, LG Electronics and all well-wishers for the support. My life, which had come to a dead end, has been transformed now and I have great hopes for the future," she was quoted by the star.

She was attacked by her husband [Steven Ngila, 34] with a panga earlier amid allegations that she could not have kids even after doctors had proved that the husband was the one with the problem.

The husband who not only left her disabled but also hacked her face and head fled after committing the crime but was later arrested.

She is expected back in the country on Sunday.
