Starehe Member of Parliament Charles Kanyi Njagua has apologised to his Embakasi East counterpart Babu Owino over a fight between them on Tuesday at Parliament buildings.

While addressing the media on Wednesday, the popular musician said that what happened yesterday was unfortunate.

The Jubilee Party MP said he had forgiven Owino over the fight.

“What happened yesterday was very unfortunate. I forgive Babu Owino. I also ask him to forgive me. However, I insist that Babu Owino must respect the president. Should he fail to respect the Head of State – again –, I will deal with him,” said Jaguar.

The two legislators traded blows after Owino referred to President Uhuru Kenyatta as a leader in charge of a caretaker government, whose reign “will end soon”.
