Former Starehe MP candidate Steve Mbogo on Tuesday told a court that Charles Njagua alias Jaguar stuffed ballot during the August 8 General Elections.
Mbogo who vied on ODM ticket is seeking the nullification of Jaguar’s win claiming that the exercise was marred by massive irregularities.
During the case hearing, Mbogo told Justice Fred Ochieng that during the August 8 polls, he was attacked and his agents stabbed.
Mbogo further claimed that he was denied entry into Pumwani Secondary School polling station.
Mbogo, who came in second, argued that the election was not conducted in accordance with the Constitution and election laws and asked the court to order the IEBC to conduct a fresh election.
Researcher Dr Nyanduso Oduo told court he found anomalies in 160 Forms 34A after scrutinising 181 forms.
He told Justice Ochieng the forms did not bear the IEBC’s official stamp and they were not signed by the presiding officer and his deputy.
Mbogo had claimed that the Starehe parliamentary election was not administered impartial and accurate matter adding that several forms 35A were not signed.
