Naivasha residents want a family from the area which has been accused of looting the National Youth Service (NYS) jailed.
Those interviewed said the family was living in poverty and 'it does not make sense that they made millions overnight'.
"They are guilty as charged. Where did they make all these millions overnight?" a resident who preferred anonymity said.
Those who have lived with the Ngiriitas, a family where the mother, two sisters and a brother, have been charged with theft of public money at the NYS, described them as quiet but egocentric.
"They have been very secretive. It now dawns to us why they kept to themselves," another resident said.
A group of bodaboda riders said the family should be jailed and their prime properties in the area confiscated by the government or the 'people will act'.
"You cannot release those people we be seeing their faces here yet they have milked our taxes through NYS. You either jail them and confiscate the stolen properties or the people themselves will act," the group said.
Among those charged is Ann Wambere, 30, who is said to have pocked a cool Sh60 million after supplying nothing to NYS, her brother Jeremiah Gichini, their sister and mother, Lucy Wambui.
