Gem Member of Parliament Jakoyo Midiwo is accusing Oburu Oginga of orchestrating chaos in ODM primaries.
Midiwo says Raila Odinga’s elder brother was responsible for the mess in Kisumu, Migori and Siaya nominations.
He claimed that Oburu rigged in certain politicians against the will of the people.
“The whole Nyanza region, from Kisii, Nyamira, Migori, HomaBay Kisumu Siaya and Busia, the biggest problem is one person, Oburu Odinga,” said Jakoyo, as quoted by Citizen Digital.
Midiwo lost in Gem nominations to Elisha Odhiambo.
Odhiambo garnered 13,400 votes, while Jakoyo amassed 8,900 votes.
He disputed the results, saying that vote counting was incomplete.
The National Assembly deputy minority leader warned that ODM could lose votes in key zones in the August polls.
He was speaking in Gem constituency on Saturday.
