Garissa County Governor Hon Nathif Jama has commissioned a new resource center at the Garissa County Referral hospital.
Together with County executive official for Health Ms. Hubbie Hussein, the county boss disclosed that the new developments being realized in the county's biggest medical center is a major indicator of thriving devolution in the region.
The newly commissioned facility has a back room computers specially fitted for the telemedicine treatment and research purposes.
During the commissioning event, Jama also inspected the ongoing development projects in the hospital that include the Magnetic Resonance Imaging unit (MRI), the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), the Renal unit and the radiology department.
The new developments in the county's health systems come barely a month after national government's Health ministry assessment of medical care in counties which listed Garissa County as the best in health care service delivery.
