The county boss has blamed his opponents of political witch-haunt ahead of the August general elections.
The statement indicates that Jama received the alleged amount from the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) into his personal account.
The eight-page bank statement, which features a stamp on each page, has continued to elicit mixed reactions from different factions.
A section of residents have faulted the governor for misusing public resources in enriching himself at the expense of the common mwananchi since he took over power.
The governor has, however, pointed an accusing finger at his rival for alleging that he received a total of Sh5 million on diverse dates.
The county boss questioned how he could authorize the bank to wire Sh640 million to his account at once.
“It’s unfortunate these people can stoop so low. If they have an iota of evidence that they think they can use against me, then they should take the same to the relevant authority for action to be taken,” Jama said.
He asked his opponents to up their game when it comes to propaganda.“Even if they cook lies and propaganda, then they should do it professionally,” he added.
