Garissa Governor Nathif Jama has pledged to continue supporting children with rare medical conditions including heart diseases.
Speaking shortly after meeting children with Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) set to undergo a medical check up at Mai Mahiu, the governor lauded his government, saying it has improved healthcare in the region since the inception of devolution.
"My administration will continue to support children with such rare medical complications and by extension ensure our healthcare service delivery goes beyond the expectation of many," he said.
"Our attention towards proper healthcare system solidly remains unchanged. This is evidenced by our improved healthcare services which is now the pride of Garissa County and we are committed to remain the medical hub of this region," he added.
