On Thursday, the IEBC declared Korane the winner of the gubernatorial polls with 55, 968 votes against Jama's 50,471.
Jama claims that the tallying process was allegedly manipulated to favour Korane.
He claimed that Korane could not have emerged the winner saying tha that the former PS had no numbers to win.
''I am going to challenge the results in court because their is no way Korane could havevwon,'' he said as quoted by the Star.
Jama urged his supporters to remain calm and peaceful assuring them of justice.
Jama said that he has evidence to show that the gubernatorial election was not free and fair.
Governor elect, Korane has celebrated his victory lauding locals for voting him as governor.
Korane, who led celebrations in Garissa town, Thursday, according to the Star newspaper pledged to work for all residents without discrimination.
