Naivasha sub-county has always grabbed the headlines for the wrong reasons.
If it is not some rogue businessmen selling donkey meat, then it is the bizarre killings that will question the love 'your neighbour gospel.'
However, as the saying goes, every cloud has a silver lining and so Naivasha will soon be a proud home to Jamaican reggae sensation, Morgan Heritage.
According to the music group, they have already bought land in Naivasha on which they intend to resettle permanently from Jamaica.
Mojo, one of the group members earlier told journalists in Nairobi that they had done a lot of research on Naivasha and realized that it was good for farming which one of them, Gramps Morgan loves doing.
"Gramps loves the lush countryside which is very good for his farm business.We have been researching a lot ," he said.
So to the naysayers out there; just know that good things can also come from the 'condemned' Naivasha town.
