Speaking on Monday at Garissa Town after hosting a delegation of elders from the Rer-Afwaax community, the Jubilee aspirant urged the locals to vote out the present county leadership, which he said was full of incompetent individuals whose core objective was to exploit them by stealing public resources.

His sentiments were also seconded by the elders who registered their dissatisfaction with the current Garissa County Government on various grounds ranging from the much spoken 'daylight looting' of public resources, incompetence, poor service delivery and unequal distribution of public resources and jobs.

The delegation unconditionally endorsed Korane's quest in forming a government that that would serve all residents without discrimination.

They particularly expressed dissatisfaction over what they termed as exclusion of the sub-clan on county top county jobs, project implementation at their regional backyards and frustration of their family members, where their only two key positions formerly reserved for them were taken back.

Monday's endorsement is now predicted to propel Ali Korane and his team closer to winning. However, they still have more to do given the fact that one of the aspirants has already stepped down in favour of the incumbent Jama.
