[Photo|Captain Lennox Xavier]Siaya Senator James Orengo, has challenged former US Secretary of State John Kerry, to apologise to Kenyans.He said, Kerry who headed the Carter Centre Observer Mission group in the August 8 elections, asked NASA presidential candidate to concede defeat, and since IEBC had declared the winner, President Uhuru Kenyatta.Orengo said the election was a bungled exercise, yet Kerry gave IEBC a clean vill of health, saying everything went well, only for the Supreme Court to nullify the presidential election following NASA's petition, saying the election was marred by irregularities.According to Orengo, who is serving his second term, Kerry lied to Kenyans about how elections were conducted, and should apologise, especially after the Supreme Court's historic ruling."The person that I am calling upon through the media is John Kerry from USA. If he is a true statesman let him apologise to the Kenyan people for asking Raila to concede defeat in a rigged election," said Orengo, Friday.He was speaking during the burial ceremony of the late Richard Asiyo, husband to the former Karachuonyo MP Dr Pheobe Asiyo who also served as the UNIFEM Ambassador.Also present was Kisumu Governor Prof Anyang' Nyong'o hailed Orengo for successfully overseeing the Nasa presidential petition in court, adding that the August 8 elections were rigged.Other leaders present were Homa Bay Governor Cyprian Awiti, Homa Bay Senator Moses Kajwang', Homa Bay Woman Representative Gladys Wanga, Suba North MP Millie Odhiambo, Ex-Kisumu Governor Jack Ranguma, Kisumu Senator Fred Outa, former ODM Nominated MP Oburu Odinga, among others.
