Speaking at Kigumo’s Bendera grounds on Saturday while officially launching his bid for the top seat, Kamau said he wanted to become the county boss and introduce proper management.

He further said that the county revenues had been misappropriated by the incumbent, something that has placed the county in a tricky place.

"Some people say that I fight the county government which is not true. But we all know that our county is facing serious challenges," he said.

The legislator added that some of the agricultural projects being done by the county government were what he referred to as a waste of time.

"We are not educating our children to come back and become sweet potato or nappier grass farmers," Kamau said.

This comes even after Governor wa Iria on Friday warned Kamau against using public rallies to spread negative sentiments about him.
