While congratulating Ferdinand Waititu for clinching the Kabete parliamentary seat yesterday, Ichung'wa said that JAP will conduct intensive campaigns to make sure that it takes power come 2017.

“The journey has just began, we are going to conduct intensive campaigns to popularise JAP among Kenyans, said Ichung’wa.

The Kikuyu MP lauded Kabate residents for voting Waititu noting that he is the leader who will fight for them.

“Baba Yao (Waititu) has a good track of development, he values people and will certainly improve Kabete,” added Ichungwa.

Waititu won the Kabete parliamentary seat massively beating other candidates with a landslide.

The Kikuyu MP urged JAP leaders to unite and help popularise the party across the country.

Thika MP Alice Ng’ang’a, Kiambu’s Jude Njomo and Senator Kimani Wamatangi have also congratulated Waititu for winning the Kabete seat.

“It was obvious that ‘Baba Yao’ was going to clinch the seat, we are happy as the Jubilee fraternity,” said Kiambu lawmaker Jude Njomo.
