Speaking at Bahati Girls Secondary School in Nakuru over the weekend, Duale lashed out at critics questioning the formation of JAP.

The Garissa MP said that JAP represents the political phase of Kenya, adding that tactics being played by the opposition to cause disunity in the party will not work.

“We know that some opposition leaders are plotting to cause disunity in JAP,but we want to tell them that they will not succeed,” he said.

Duale indicated that leaders in party will work together to ensure they clinch the presidency in 2017 and 2022 respectively.

Meanwhile, Duale has asked county governments to use wisely funds allocated to them by the national government.

He said the funds should be used to promote and advance the living standards of the people.

Duale at the same time defended the government against claims that it is not committed to devolution.

The MP said the Jubilee government is keen to enhance devolution, noting that it is the only way people at the grass root levels will access government services.
