Speaking at Lari when he put the foundation stone on the construction of the Lari Technical Institute on Sunday, Ruto said JAP will unite Kenyans by fighting tribalism.

The Deputy President asked leaders who are not happy with formation of JAP to quit and stop causing rifts among jubilee government followers.

“We have made it clear that JAP is the vehicle that will bring unity and peace among Kenyans. Those who are not happy with its formation should quit,” said Ruto.

The Deputy President said there is no going back and that affiliate parties under the National Party (TNA) and United Republic Party (URP) must come together under JAP.

Ruto further lashed out at some politicians who he accused of plotting to spoil and undermine his 2022 presidential bid.

The Deputy President said that plotters are working hard to interfere with the good working relationship he has with President Uhuru Kenyatta.

“I know many are praying for my fall-out with President Kenyatta, let them know that their wishes will never come true,” said Ruto.

Ruto said that the Jubilee leadership will remain united and committed to serve Kenyans.

The deputy president asked Kenyans to avoid leaders who are preaching tribalism and divisive politics.
