Coffee house Java has opened one of its biggest branches in the country at Eldoret Town, in Uasin Gishu County.
The Java outlet is located along the Eldoret-Nakuru highway at Rupa’s building, the newest mall in Eldoret.
Speaking during the official opening of the branch on Thursday, Java House Group CEO Ken Kuguru said they have invested over Sh50 million in setting up the Eldoret outlet.
"As a group we have set aside Sh50 million shilling for every Java outlet but this one cost a little bit more because it's one of the biggest we have," said Mr Kuguru.
He revealed that they picked Eldoret because it is among the biggest towns in the country.
"Eldoret deserved to have a Java because it is one of the fastest growing towns and its actually growing towards the city status," he added.
Java House now has 51 branches spread across 12 cities and towns in the East African Region.
