A mysterious woman has come out claiming to be Jehova Wanyonyi's successor.

Elizabeth Akata who says she is Turkana insists that she met Wanyonyi in Lodwar despite claims that the self-proclaimed god was dead.

"I met him in Lodwar when he left here, Jehova Wanyonyi is not dead," she said

Akata maintains that she is the one to replace Wanyonyi as a god a claim which has been rubbished by Wanyonyi's followers in Chemororoch village, Uasin Gishu County.

"She cannot claim to be a prophetess yet she is married, even the bible does not mention any prophet who was married," said one of the villagers.

Self-proclaimed god Jehova Wanyonyi died mid last year leaving behind 70 wives and 95 children.
