Nancy Jelangat won 10,000m race women on day two of fourth Athletics Kenya (AK) Eldoret meeting held on a muddy track at University of Eldoret grounds.

Jelagat who has been running in the local races without any management won the race in style of her own clocking 35.46.3 followed by Hilda Chesir in a distance timing 36.02.0.

Jelangat said she has been running but she is yet to get any management or agent.

“Am happy I have won today, yesterday I was position four which did not deter me today, though I run as an individual, hope I will get management. I will do my best,” she said on Saturday.

Following in the third position was Melan Chepleting who clocked 36.18.7. Beatrice Cheserek (36.50.0) came in fourth.

In hammer women finals, Rebecca Koloso who not attached to any camp threw 46.35 meters followed by Rose Ragamba from National Police service who had a throwing of 43.72meters.

In the shot put women, Pelista Bosire from National Police Service was position one with 13.10 while Irine Akifuma from Prison was second with 11.54.

Damacrin Nyakeruri from Administration Police (AP) won in the Javelin women with a throw of 46.80 followed by Dorothy Jepngetich, an individual athlete who threw 44.20.
