Former KTN investigative journalist Mohamed Ali, popularly known as Moha Jicho Pevu, has launched a scathing attack on Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho’s brother, Said Abdalla Sido.
Moha, who has declared interest in the Nyali parliamentary seat, took to his Facebook to lament how the lives of youth in Mombasa have been destroyed.
“Mapenzi majani huota popote. Kongowea is done and dusted. To the little pressure groups hanging around a toy boy you can’t stop an idea whose time has come. We are coming to reform you, give you good education, employment to save you from being used as slaves in Nyali Constituency. Being a brother to the Governor doesn’t give you the right to mislead young men and women,” read Moha's Facebook post.
The aspirant further called upon youths and women of Nyali to continue with the fight to liberate themselves from poor leadership, adding that they should not be misled by a section of leaders.
“My message to you all is that we should not give up and we should not allow the problem to defeat us. Msikubali akili ndogo kutawala akili kubwa. Asante Kongowea, Mungu awabariki. (Do not allow small minds to govern great minds),” he added.
The Nyali parliamentary election is expected to be a tough contest as it has attracted the wealthy and mighty.
Other candidates in the race to replace Hezron Awiti, who is contesting for governorship include Ashraf Bayusuf a businessman and Chrispus Waithaka the Mombaa GEMA chairperson.
