Investigative journalist-cum politician Mohammed Ali has told residents of North Eastern Kenya to vote for ODM party leader Raila Odinga during the August general election.
Ali, who is gunning for the Nyali parliamentary seat said only a Raila presidency will liberate the country from run-away corruption currently championed by the Jubilee administration.
"I have come here as your brother to remind you that so much has happened in this region," he said at a public rally attended by NASA leaders Raila Odinga, Kalonzo Musyoka, Moses Wetangula and Musalia Mudavadi in Wajir town on Saturday.
"I have come here to tell you that come August 8, exercise your voting right by sending Jubilee home. Let us not allow Jubilee to kill Kenya."
He took issue with the ruling administration saying it has marginalised residents of Northern Eastern Kenya for long, adding that many residents from the region have perished under Jubilee's watch.
The senior journalist is among aspirants gunning for various elective seats in August closest to Mr Odinga.
Raila during the event endorsed his (Ali) candidature for the Nyali parliamentary seat and will be expected to square it out with incumbent Hezron Awiti who has hinted at leaving the opposition National Super Alliance.
